雅思口语Part2考什么?What is Part2?Personal long-turn!这是英国剑桥大学考试委员会对雅思口语的第二部分的称谓!
Part 2的要求
The examiner gives you a topic card.You have one minute to prepare and make notes.Then you’ll be required to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.
关键点：to talk about the topic和one to two minutes。
Part 2要求“烤鸭”在1~2分钟内谈论考官所给的话题。
来看看Part 2的“原版”卡片：
(剑10的Test 2的Part 2)
Describe a shop near where you live that you sometimes use.
You should say：
what sorts of product or service it sell
swhat the shop looks like
where it is located
and explain why you use this shop.
下面的是剑9的Test 3的Part 2：
Describe a journey[e.g.by car，plane，boat]that you remember well.
You should say：
where you went
how you travelled
why you went on the journey
and explain why you remember this journey well.
实际情况：
“烤鸭”会拿到一张A4大小的纸，在这张纸上会有一个像上面那样的题目;
这个题目可能是关于person，或者一个place，或者一个thing，或者一个something的;
在题目下面会有一些提示的问题;
“烤鸭”有1分钟的时间去做准备话题;
接着，“烤鸭”有1~2分钟的时间必须围绕着card所给出的内容来回答。
实际上：
Part 2就是1~2分钟的口头作文，“灵魂”就是“description”。
中文的“描述”是“描写叙述，运用各种修辞手法对事物进行形象化的阐述”的意思;在英语中“description”的意思为“a statement that represents sb./sth.in words”。
总而言之，言而总之，无论什么topic，“烤鸭”都需要有思考，有规划地“描述”Part 2。
Part 2到底考什么呢?
【Cards 1】人物类
Describe an old person you know and you respect.
Describe a famous/successful person from another country you admire.
Describe a person you would like to be in the future.

Describe a good neighbor.

【Warm Tip】People是指persons，包括men、women和children。雅思口语话题卡中的People类话题卡是Part 2的主流话题之一，出现的概率相当高，几乎在每个月的考试里都能遇到。
【Card 2】地点类
Describe a place where you learned another culture.
Describe an interesting place to visit.
Describe a place where you can read or write.(not your home)
Describe a place you remembered/went to which is full of colors.
Describe a place of natural beauty that you have been to.
Describe an interesting historic place.
Describe a place full of colors.
Describe a historical attraction you would like to visit.
Describe a special street.
Describe a place near water that you enjoyed visiting.
【Warm Tip】在Part 2中，地点类是必考的一个部分。地点类考题在每次考试占有的比重较大，建议“烤鸭”们在备考过程中认真准备这一类话题。

【Warm Tip】雅思口语Part 2是考试的重中之重，也是“烤鸭”们为之最头疼和尴尬的考试项目，而尤其以事件类话题为考试最难且题目千变万化让人很难在考场时顺利“编出”合理的故事。

【Warm Tip】在雅思口语Part 2中，媒体类话题更是一个必不可少的话题，而这一类题目常考的话题基本上是固定的，其中，书本和报刊这类话题一直以来都是媒体类话题的主流。对于这类话题，“烤鸭”最好事先进行一定的材料搜集和准备。因为这类话题比较特殊，具有很强的针对性，如果“烤鸭”现场在短短的1分钟时间编造的话，恐怕很难给出一个令人满意的答案，而且对于这种媒体类的话题，“烤鸭”不能像其他话题一样，随便编一些内容，而必须要有具体的故事。
